Work Schedule and Shift Premiums
- Full Time | 36 hours/week including every other weekend |Nights 7pm to 7am
- Hourly pay rate is determined by years of experience
- 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hr (3pm-11pm)
- 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hr (11pm to 7am)
- Weekend premiums is $2.00/hr
- Insurance: medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disability

- May be eligible for relocation assistance plus $5,250 paid on your student loan
- ADN or BSN in nursing
- Valid Michigan RN license, could possibly work as a graduate nurse until you pass the NCLEX or get your Michigan endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred, but not necessarily required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required, plus CPI/TEAM certification required within one year (all are available through Hillsdale Hospital)
- Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness
- Immediately stabilize incoming patients
- Administer medication as instructed by physicians
- Start intravenous lines
- Create and maintain incoming patient records
- Work with team of emergency staff to help patients
- Help transfer stable patients to other wings
- Collect comprehensive date pertinent to patient’s health and situation
- Analyze assessment data, identify appropriate nursing diagnosis lists and create individualized plan of care
- Evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in unit specific/hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and assist with activities that enhance quality of nursing practice
