7pm-7am | 3 days/week including every other weekend

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution
- Current Michigan Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) desirable, however, will consider experience and willingness to be become certified within 4 months of hire, may be eligible for tuition assistance from the hospital
- Specialized training and experience as a monitor tech is preferred
- BLS, ACLS, & TEAMS certifications (available through Hillsdale Hospital)
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, recognize, read, & report cardiac rhythms
- Must have knowledge of patient’s condition and plan of care and assist under direction of an RN
- Maintain accurate records within the chart - graphics, I&Os, etc.
- Collect patient specimens per protocol
- Along with patient care duties, will perform clerical duties related to admissions, discharges, transfers, etc. Input computer data appropriately. Answer the telephone in a friendly manner, take messages, and direct calls
