Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
• Support the kitchen team by performing food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with cooking tasks under supervision, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service
• Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and temperature protocols
• Support catering events and special functions with meal preparation and setup
• Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to ensure a positive guest experience

Requirements

• Prior experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, and cooking methods
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are highly desirable
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in restaurants or the food industry demonstrating excellent kitchen skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers

Pay: $13.73 - $15.00 per hour
