Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mammography Technologist located in Hillsborough, NJ. The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality mammographic procedures for patients, ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, and properly maintain imaging equipment. Responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare professionals, preparing patients, capturing detailed images, and maintaining accurate records in line with medical protocols. A commitment to patient comfort and safety is essential.
Qualifications
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Strong knowledge of Radiation Safety regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology, including operation and maintenance of imaging equipment
- Experience and understanding in radiology and a foundational grasp of medical imaging concepts
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Current license or certification applicable to the state of New Jersey
- Experience in mammography and knowledge of FDA/MQSA guidelines preferred
