Drama Kids isn’t your typical after-school program. We “Act Up” with purpose — using creative drama to spark imagination and build life skills. No sets. No auditions. Just energy, creativity, and FUN!

- Give you the chance to make a real difference in kids’ lives — helping them shine with confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
- Offer a fun, supportive team environment where your personality and ideas are celebrated.
- Provide paid training and a proven, easy-to-follow curriculum (no scripts or stage fright required!)
- Flexible Schedule — usually 2-3 hours per week.
- Monday-Friday between 2-4 PM.
- This is a part-time role designed to supplement your income, not a full-time position.
- Opportunities to grow your skills in teaching, leadership, and performance.
- And yes, you get paid to play — think robots, aliens, superheroes, and improv games that keep both you and the kids laughing.

What You’ll Do (the easy part — we’ll train you!):
- Lead creative drama classes for kids ages 5-12 in schools and community locations around Apollo Beach, Valrico, and Brandon.
- Guide warm-ups, theater games, mini-scripts, and help prepare students for their end-of-year showcase.
- Encourage shy kids, spotlight budding stars, and be the highlight of their week.
- Build great relationships with students and families along the way.
- Full School Year Commitment: September - May
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and positive role models.
- Someone who enjoys working with kids and can confidently lead a class. Confident managing a class.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commit to the school year (Sept-May).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Bonus points if you have theater or teaching experience — but not required, we’ll train you!
