What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist / Medical Assistant at Hillsboro Sports Medicine PC position at Hillsboro Sports Medicine PC?
You would be joining a great team that has been providing Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage, and Sports Medicine care for over 30 years. This job will involve directly working with Dr. Wright, Dr. Rhine, and our massage therapist Patty. You would be an integral member of our 3-person staff.
Initially, this position will be approximately 22 hours per week. Tuesday mornings, Full day on Wednesday, Thursday afternoons, and Friday mornings. Within six months you will have the option of picking up two additonal half day shifts, bringing your hours up to 30 per week.
This position offers you the opportunity to work shifts as our healthcare receptionist and other days you will be able to assist the doctors with patient care.
Our receptionist duties include greeting and rooming patients, answering phones, scheduling patients, verifying insurance benefits, data entry, receiving and posting payments, and helping with assistant duties.
Our patient care assistant duties include greeting and rooming patients, assisting the doctors with note taking, connecting patients to therapy machines, removing acupuncture needles, room cleaning, and helping with receptionist duties
Experience is preferred, especially with the healthcare receptionist role, but it is not absolutely necessary. We are truly looking for someone that is intelligent, outgoing, positive, healthy, and fun.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
