Director of Human Resources - Licensed Staff
Hillsboro School District is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our administrative leadership team as the Director of Human Resources - Licensed Staff. This role is instrumental in managing the operational and fiscal functions of our licensed personnel and athletic coaching staff, ensuring that our recruitment and retention practices reflect our commitment to equity and excellence.
- Provide oversight for day-to-day operations including recruitment, hiring, compensation, and evaluation of licensed staff.
- Lead efforts to cultivate diverse hiring practices and promote equity as a core institutional and educational value.
- Serve as a key resource in labor relations, assisting with the administration of collective bargaining agreements and facilitating union leadership meetings.
- Supervise and evaluate department staff while monitoring fiscal resources for licensed staff services.
- Manage all human resources services related to District athletic coaches.
- A valid State of Oregon Administrative License and a Master’s Degree (Education emphasis preferred).
- Minimum of three years of school administration experience with a successful background in teaching and leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal laws related to employee relations and collective bargaining.
- Proven ability to conduct investigations, resolve complex problems, and maintain positive relationships with union partners.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Position Type: Full-time, 12-month calendar
- Salary Range: $157,201 to $172,748 per year
