What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Coordinator position at Hillsboro Pediatric Clinic LLC?
Fast paced, team oriented pediatric clinic is seeking a full-time Front Office Patient Coordinator. Patient Coordinators provide patients and their families with a welcoming first impression of the clinic, maintain patient confidentiality, and provide exceptional customer service at every encounter. Major functions of the Patient Coordinator include but are not limited to:
- Registration of patients
- Collecting insurance information and entering into EHR.
- Schedule appointments
- Answer telephone calls, take messages
- Collect payments
Education and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or GED; associate degree or specialized medical office study preferred
- Experience: One year of experience in a medical office setting or in a customer service position
Skills, Abilities and Requirements:
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English
- Friendly, welcoming, and helpful demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protected health information.
- Proficient computer skills (preferably experience with Electronic Medical Records)
- Spell accurately in English
- Skill in answering multi-line phone
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility with scheduling
- Proof of completed COVID vaccinations
