ROLE: Orthodontic Assistant / RDA
You are the heart of the clinical experience.
You’ll support the orthodontist in delivering high-quality treatment while building trust with each patient and family. Whether you’re prepping the chair, placing brackets, taking scans, or educating a teen on aligner wear—you do it with precision, warmth, and a calm presence.
Note: Some states require a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license for orthodontic assistants. This position can be adapted to fit your state’s licensing guidelines.
You’ll LOVE this role if you thrive on:
- Assisting with wire changes, bracket placement, and appliance delivery
- Taking and uploading digital X-rays, photos, and iTero scans
- Explaining home care instructions and setting patient expectations
- Keeping treatment areas stocked, organized, and sterilized
- Supporting patients who are nervous or overwhelmed
- Being the calm in the chaos—and the smile patients remember
You’re a Fit If You…
- Have orthodontic or dental assisting experience (or the willingness to train and grow)
- Are detail-oriented and precise with instruments, sterilization processes, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Communicate clearly with teammates and kindly with patients
- Can stay focused in a fast-paced, high-volume schedule
- Bring positive energy—even when things get tough
- Are certified or registered as required in your state (or can meet requirements quickly)
