What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Receptionist position at Hillsboro Club?
The Hillsboro Club, an exclusive oceanfront private residence club in South Florida, is seeking an experienced Spa Receptionist to support the Spa Department at our gorgeous property. This position will be responsible for greeting members and guests according to club standards when they enter or exit the building, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist in a friendly and professional manner. We are looking for someone with hospitality experience, high energy and the passion to contribute to the continued success of our luxury property.
The Club operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.
This Part-Time opportunity offers competitive compensation, ranging from $16 to $19 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, our employees have access to health insurance and other benefits. We also offer opportunities for advancement within the company.
General Requirements
- Ensure Members feel welcome when they arrive for their appointments.
- Be attentive and promptly respond to Member's needs.
- Explain all fitness products, services, and treatments to Members and assist them in determining their individual needs.
- Stay informed of daily functions throughout the Club.
- Assist with the overall operations of the facility.
- Tactfully enforce rules and regulations.
- Confirm appointments daily.
- Be familiar with and execute all opening and closing procedures.
- Ring up Member services.
- Provide administrative assistance to other staff and contractors when needed.
- Complete other appropriate duties assigned by the Spa & Fitness Manager.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A fitness/Spa background is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency is preferred.
- Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a hospitality/club setting.
- Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
