Founded in 1980, Hillsboro Aviation offers complete helicopter and airplane services comprised of five divisions: contract & charter, aircraft sales & management, service center, FBO, and parts sales. Serving domestic and international markets in the government, commercial, and private sectors, we have over 85 employees and 10 turbine aircraft. We operate out of our award-winning headquarters at the Portland-Hillsboro Airport (KHIO).

The Position
Our award-winning FBO represents Avfuel and offers luxury services and amenities including hangar space, aircraft detailing, exercise facilities, and a state-of-the-art lobby.
As a Line Service & Aircraft Fueler, you will work closely with the FBO and Service Center teams to represent Hillsboro Aviation and provide stella customer service to our diverse customer base and their needs. You will report to the Line Service Manager and will be responsible for the following, including but not limited to:
- Fueling and towing of aircraft
- General facility cleanup indoors and outdoors
- Provide excellent customer service skills
Ideal candidates exhibit a “teamwork” attitude and have the ability to work well with others, able to take initiative and be a self-starter, be able to work outdoors in all environments, have attention to detail, and be able to uphold and represent the company in a professional manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Fueling and towing of aircraft
- General facility cleanup indoors and outdoors
- Provide excellent customer service skills
- Be able to communicate on radio
- Frequent use of a ladder throughout the day
- Able to lift 50lbs, and frequently lifting 25lbs throughout the shift
- Basic math skills required
Qualifications/Licenses
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Required Skills/Experience
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service based environment
- Previous line service experience
- General vehicle maintenance skills
