About the Role
We are seeking a skilled pastry chef experienced in creating desserts rooted in traditions as well as contemporary adaptations. The right candidate will help define our dessert program and contribute to a unique, elevated dining and catering experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce traditional and inspired desserts, as well as house specials
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, presentation, and portion size
- Work closely with kitchen and FOH to coordinate dessert service timing and plating
- Manage pastry inventory, ordering, costs, and waste control
- Keep pastry station and storage clean and organized; follow food-safety and hygiene protocols
- Adapt recipes and scale production based on demand (weekends, holidays, catering, etc.)
- Collaborate in menu planning and seasonal dessert specials
Requirements
- Prior experience as a pastry or dessert chef
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of pastry techniques, dessert plating, ingredient sourcing
- Creative mindset to both preserve traditional flavors and innovate new desserts
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency through busy service periods
- Professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for quality
