About the Role
We are looking for a creative, guest-focused bartender who specializes in non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails. As Hills of Herat emphasizes hospitality and a welcoming vibe for all guests, a strong mocktail program will set us apart.
Responsibilities
- Craft and serve a diverse mocktail menu with creativity and consistency
- Guide guests through the beverage menu, make recommendations, upsell mocktails or accompanying items (desserts, small plates, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized bar station; restock supplies, glassware, garnish, non-alcoholic ingredients
- Collaborate with FOH and kitchen to synchronize drink and food service smoothly
- Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
- Handle POS transactions, manage tabs/bills, and work efficiently during busy service
- Work weekends, nights, and flexible shifts as needed
Requirements
- Previous bartending or bar-service experience (mocktail, non-alcoholic beverage service a plus)
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Creative and enthusiastic about beverage creation and presentation — able to suggest and design drinks based on guest preferences, and educate staff on beverages/pairings
- Reliable, attentive, and able to handle busy shifts and multitask
- Friendly, service-oriented, and team-minded attitude
