Job Summary:
As a Fund and Treasury Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing treasury functions and investor relations within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily treasury activities, including cash management, banking transactions, and investor communication. Additionally, you will contribute to monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes, supporting the team in maintaining accurate records and facilitating efficient fund operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
Treasury:
- Daily monitoring and management of bank balances across all accounts, adhering to specific timing preferences.
- Compilation of daily deposit reports and uploading of cash visibility data into ERP systems.
- Proactive monitoring of cash balances to identify potential issues such as negative balances or incoming draws, taking appropriate action to resolve them.
- Coordination of document signatures for treasury-related matters, ensuring timely submission to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaison with internal and external parties regarding wire transfers, including verification of instructions and confirmation of receipt.
- Collaboration with colleagues to facilitate smooth operation, including addressing individual needs and ensuring team members are supported.
- Regular communication with banking partners to optimize account structures, minimize fees, and implement necessary changes.
- Quality assurance of check processing, including verification of accuracy and adherence to banking requirements.
Daily / Weekly:
- Ongoing follow-up with bankers to track progress on account openings and closings.
- Management of check ordering process and creation of general ledger entries in collaboration with designated team members.
- Maintenance of cash balance reports and ERP account connections to prevent operational disruptions.
- Support for operational loan management, including monitoring fund availability and facilitating additional requests as needed.
Monthly:
- Timely retrieval of bank and loan statements for reconciliation purposes, providing assistance to team members as necessary.
- Review and coordination of check orders and shredding activities in collaboration with designated personnel.
- Provision of necessary documentation and support for security deposit accounts as requested.
Quarterly:
- Preparation and distribution of cash position reports for designated stakeholders, including investment project assessments.
- Review and validation of external financial workbooks, investment performance calculations, and capital distribution schedules.
- Management of capital call processes for specific investors, tracking and reporting on partial funding arrangements and late submissions.
- Coordination with external parties regarding distribution wire instructions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and protocols.
Investor Relations:
- Daily resolution of investor inquiries and requests, including portal access, wire instructions, and document distribution.
- Active monitoring of investor relations inbox to assist in addressing urgent matters and providing timely responses.
- Maintenance of investor portal user accounts, verifying access permissions and updating as necessary.
Monthly:
- Review and analysis of cash and investment summaries to support investor reporting and reconciliation activities.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate equity reconciliation processes.
Quarterly:
- Comprehensive review and validation of external financial reports, investment performance metrics, and capital call schedules.
- Coordination of capital call processes for specific investors, including communication with late-paying entities and tracking of partial funding arrangements.
- Management of distribution wire instructions, ensuring compliance with FFC regulations and investor preferences.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in treasury management and investor relations within financial services industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of banking procedures, wire transfer protocols, and cash management principles.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including interpretation of investment performance metrics and reconciliation of financial statements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Microsoft Excel, banking platforms, and investor management systems.
Working Conditions:

Physical Demands:
- Incumbents must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the community and amenities.
