Optometrist Position in Beautiful Florida

Hillmoor Optometric, a well-established and highly respected Optometric practice located at the corner of US-1 and Crosstown Parkway on Florida’s Treasure Coast, is seeking an exceptional Optometrist to join our team. We are looking for the next generation of Optometric leadership, with an eye toward the future and continued growth, with possible ownership for the right candidate.

Technology & Equipment Our practice is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and clinical technology, including:

• Nidek Auto-Refractor
• Fundus Camera
• OCT
• Humphrey Visual Fields
• Wireless BIO
• RetEval
• Corneal Topographer
• Auto-Phoropters

Clinical & Staff Support

• Experienced Optometric technicians providing patient history, pre-testing and scribing.
• Highly skilled Opticians
• Collaborative environment working alongside current ODs

Skills

• Proven experience or strong knowledge in ophthalmology and optical practices
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical coding practices
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
• Ability to perform comprehensive eye exams including vital signs assessment
• Skilled in customer service and effective communication with diverse patient populations
• Perform medical tasks such as foreign body removal, punctal plugs, etc.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Flexible; 3 or 5 days per week
• Office Hours: Monday through Friday 9 to 5, Saturday 9 to 3
• Compensation: $750 p/d
• Employment Structure: 1099 or W-2 options available

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited School of Optometry
• Active Florida Optometry license in good standing
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
