Responsibilities
- Assisting in processing concrete test cylinders (stripping, logging, and curing).
- Assisting in performing compressive strength testing of concrete test cylinders.
- Calibrating field testing equipment.
- Maintain field equipment inventory.
- Report laboratory testing results to the project team verbally or in writing.
- Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects, as needed.
- Support a clean, safe, efficient laboratory environment.
- Successfully complete necessary certifications (company-paid) to perform laboratory testing tasks.
- Pay raises will be provided for successful completion of certifications!
- High School degree or GED equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geology a plus)
- Valid (ACI, AWS, ICC, NICET, NRCA, etc.) certifications are a plus and will result in higher starting pay!
- Ability to meet pre-employment criteria, including motor vehicle record.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematic computations.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds.
