Your Role
- Hillis-Carnes Specialty Construction Group is actively seeking Geotechnical Drillers for our Woodbine, MD office. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of the geotechnical drill rig operations and drilling techniques. Need to be reliable, motivated, possess a positive attitude, and have a good work ethic. Experience with Hollow Stem Auger and Casing Advance Drilling, Mud Rotary Drilling, Split Spoon and Shelby Tube Sampling, and Rock Coring.
- High school diploma
- Ability to meet additional pre-employment requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable
- Clean and maintain company assigned vehicle, drill rig, and equipment
- Work closely with site leadership to ensure that scope of work is being met within a timely schedule and in accordance with the safety standards
- CDL class A or B is preferred but not required
- Produce daily reports and boring logs
- Successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company-provided training and mentoring
- Salary range is between $24 and $34/Hour and will be negotiated based on experience.
