Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
- Prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
- Provide social activities.
- Follow through with behavior management techniques as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Assist with laundry and housekeeping tasks as necessary.
- Provide direct support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior or health status to facility and/or on call nursing staff.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in senior care and/or mental health or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and dementia care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems is desirable.
