Role Description The Resident Manager is a part-time, on-site role located at our various campuses (Lees Summit, MO, Independence, MO, Sugar Creek,) responsible for supporting the daily operations of a Hillcrest transitional housing facility. This position oversees the safety, cleanliness, and orderly functioning of the property, monitors adherence to program guidelines, and provides consistent, respectful support to residents. The Resident Manager supports the Programs team by coordinating with case managers and volunteers, assists with resident orientation and move-in/move-out processes, and helps ensure residents attend required classes and appointments. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation related to resident activities, reporting facility or safety concerns, and responding to basic resident needs in a professional, trauma-informed manner. The role may also involve occasional evening or weekend coverage, participation in staff meetings, and collaboration with community partners to uphold Hillcrest’s mission of moving clients toward self-sufficiency.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in social work, human services, or related fields is a plus.

Compensation:
This position is unpaid and offers a free one bedroom apartment in exchange for Resident Manager duties.
