Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in our nursing home/long term care facility. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. The Certified Nursing Assistant will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and blood pressure.
- Help with mobility by assisting patients in moving from one location to another.
- Provide basic life support and emergency care as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient rooms and common areas.
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities or special needs by providing tailored assistance.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Participate in training sessions related to emergency medicine and urgent care practices.
