Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Phone Operator to join our busy, multi-physician Internal Medicine practice. This position serves as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and provides essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced medical environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and route high-volume incoming calls professionally
- Take accurate messages and relay them to the appropriate staff or provider
- Manage a multi-line phone system efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and callers
- Perform clerical tasks including data entry, documentation, and filing
- Assist with additional administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Strong typing and documentation skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in clerical and administrative tasks
- One year of experience in healthcare, medical office or call center strongly preferred
- Prior experience in customer service preferred
- Experience with EMR systems required; eClinicalWorks experience a plus
Additional Requirements

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.50 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
