- Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
Responsibilities
- Under the general direction of the Manager, Respiratory Therapy and under direct on site supervision by Cardiologist, administers graded exercise tests in the clinical setting to assess the patient’s ability to tolerate increasing intensities of exercise while electrocardiograph (ECG), hemodynamic, and symptomatic responses are monitored for manifestations of myocardial ischemia, electrical instability, or other exertion-related abnormalities.
- Serves as a clinical resource to physicians, hospital staff and the community.
- Plans, organizes and coordinates various activities and mentors new department staff as requested by the manager.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Oklahoma or Multi-State RN License.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Previous teaching experience.
- Previous experience in cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Three to five years’ experience in nursing of cardiac/pulmonary patients.
- Recent experience in the last 24 months in cardiac/pulmonary rehab, CCU, or emergency care.
