- Hillcrest Hospital Claremore offers a variety of services for all ages and in a location convenient for Claremore, Oklahoma residents. The hospital is 49-bed acute care medical center, offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
Responsibilities
- Operate all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently to ensure high-quality imaging services.
- Ensure excellence in imaging quality and patient positioning to consistently achieve outstanding scan results.
- Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
- Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluid.
- Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
- Communicate with compassion, providing clear explanations of MRI procedures while attentively observing patients to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Evaluate MR images for technical quality, exposure, and transmit to PACS.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Technical or Associate’s radiography degree
- Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
- If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment
- Active BLS certification
Preferred Job Requirements
- 1-year of MRI Tech experience
- Advanced certification in MRI
