What You’ll Do
As a Server, you will support dining room service while helping ensure meals are served in a professional, timely, and welcoming manner.
You Will
- Greet residents and guests with warmth, professionalism, and respect.
- Take meal orders and communicate orders clearly to the cook or chef.
- Serve meals in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
- Assist the cook or chef with meal preparation support as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and pleasant dining room environment.
- Clear, sanitize, and reset tables efficiently.
- Wash dishes, silverware, glasses, and other dining items as needed.
- Vacuum dining areas, including spot cleaning as needed.
- Wash, dry, fold, and store linens.
- Sanitize and refill condiment containers.
- Wrap silverware and assist with dining room setup.
- Prepare the daily menu board for the following day.
- Support culinary, health services, housekeeping, residents, families, and team members with kindness and professionalism.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- A team-first mindset and willingness to assist where needed.
- Comfort using technology and resources efficiently and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous dining service, food service, restaurant, hospitality, or senior living experience preferred.

- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to utilize technology, dining supplies, and resources efficiently and effectively.
- Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
- Other duties as assigned.
