Summary:
As the Food Server Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service for our valued members and guests. Acting as the vital connection between our kitchen and serving team, you will navigate the dining area with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring every dish is delivered promptly and with a friendly demeanor. Your responsibilities will include the setup and maintenance of service stations, as well as the swift clearing of tables to uphold the inviting atmosphere of our establishment. With your attention to detail and dedication to excellence, you will contribute to the seamless flow of operations from opening to closing.
Food Expeditor Responsibilities:
- Liaise between the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders.
- Verify that each dish meets quality and presentation standards before it leaves the kitchen.
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen team.
- Coordinate with servers to ensure proper timing of food delivery to guests' tables.
Busser Responsibilities:
- Set up dining areas, including arranging tables, chairs, and table settings.
- Clear tables promptly after guests finish their meals, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for incoming guests.
- Dispose of trash and used dishes in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Assist servers with refilling drinks, delivering additional condiments, or accommodating special requests from guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach.
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid, and noisy environment.
- Weekend and Holiday availability is a requirement.
