Job Description:
Busy Walk-In Clinic seeking Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join our team in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.
Summary:
The NP/PA performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, orders, conducts, supervises and interprets diagnostic and laboratory test, prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments in the direct management of acute illness, injury, and disease.
Education:
- College Degree as a Physician Assistant; or Registered Nurse with a Master's Degree in Nursing or post Master's Certificate as an Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
Required Knowledge, Skills and Personal Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Valid, current, and unrestricted GA license
- DEA license a plus
- Comfortable treating children ages 6 months
- Recent 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to work as a team member in a private practice environment demonstrating mutual respect for colleagues, clients, and all partners.
- Good leadership skills and communication skills
- Experience with electronic medical records
- DOT Certification preferred
Clinic Business Hours Include :
Monday-Friday: 8am-7pm
Saturday: 8am-4pm
Sunday: 10-4pm
Closed Easter Day & Christmas Day
