What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Teacher position at Hillcrest Christian Early Learning Center?
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Teacher to join our 10-week Summer Camp Program for children ages 6 to 10. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a consistent weekday schedule—no evenings or weekends required!
Position Overview:
- Lead and supervise children in a fun, safe, and engaging environment
- Chaperone 2–3 field trips per week
- Plan and participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor games and activities
- Support positive social interaction and development among campers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in education or working with children is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage groups of children in both structured and active settings
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Camp hours: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (shifts scheduled within this timeframe)
- No evenings or weekends
Compensation:
- Competitive pay above market rates
- Pay based on experience and educational background
