Position Overview
We are looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of data center and mission critical construction projects in the Temple area. This role involves managing day-to-day project execution, with an emphasis on MEP coordination, schedule management, and quality control. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of leading field teams and subcontractors in fast-paced, technically demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for mission critical facilities, from early planning through closeout.
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement logs, and coordination plans.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring milestones are met and project standards are upheld.
- Support MEP coordination efforts, including tracking submittals, managing RFIs, and assisting with system integration.
- Participate in commissioning, startup, and turnover processes in coordination with third-party agents and vendors.
- Assist with preparing and conducting Method of Procedure (MOP) meetings for live facility work.
- Work closely with preconstruction and estimating teams to align budgets and execution strategies.
- Monitor project performance and communicate progress, issues, and solutions to leadership and clients.
- Build strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Promote and enforce strict jobsite safety standards in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
- Ensure all project documentation, closeout materials, and punch list items are completed accurately and on time.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of commercial construction experience, with at least 1–2 years on mission critical or data center projects preferred.
- Familiarity with MEP systems, commissioning processes, and technical coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- PMP or CM-Lean certification is a plus.
- Local experience in the Temple market is a strong advantage.
