Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to complete daily delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Deliver snacks and drinks to customers’ locations, providing excellent customer service by addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of your vehicle, conducting routine inspections before and after routes.
- Follow prescribed route schedules efficiently while adapting to traffic or route changes as needed.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory checks or moving stock when not on route driving.
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience with a proven track record in route driving and customer service excellence.
- Hands-on experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles, including those with manual transmissions.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments, heavy lifting, moving supplies, and using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and load securing.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid
driver’s license or equivalent certification. - Ability to handle physical tasks involving heavy lifting and moving goods efficiently.
