What You’ll Be Doing:
Here at BridgePoint, the Human Resources Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the Human Resources function for the Hospital and Nursing Center. This role provides leadership and oversight of HR operations, compensation administration, job description development, competency evaluation, employee relations, labor relations, policy administration, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
The Human Resources Director serves as a strategic partner and advisor to operational leaders, providing guidance on employee development, performance management, progressive discipline, conflict resolution, and compliance with employment laws. The Director fosters positive employee and labor relations while supporting organizational objectives and ensuring consistent application of policies and collective bargaining agreements.
The position requires experience in labor relations, including contract administration, grievance management, labor-management meetings, union communications, collective bargaining support, and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements. The Director partners with leadership and union representatives to resolve workplace issues, maintain contract compliance, and promote productive working relationships.
The Human Resources Director also assists with the administration of employee benefit programs, including medical plans, disability programs, workers’ compensation, leave management, and retirement savings plans, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Behavioral Science or related field.
Licenses/Certification: PHR or SPHR certificate preferred.
Experience: Five (5) years of management experience in Human Resources or (3) years in a leadership role within a Human Resources Department, preferably in a healthcare setting.
