We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our growing kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly
- Help with basic food presentation and plating as needed for events
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist kitchen staff during busy service periods to facilitate smooth operations
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and food safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, cooking, or culinary tasks is a plus
