Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the baking industry - minimum of 1 year in a traditional bakery setting. A knowledge of producing in large volume is required. As an overnight baker, you will be responsible for scaling, mixing and producing the following but is not limited to: bun doughs, breads, donut doughs, etc. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our culinary creations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including bread, buns and donuts.
- Follow recipes accurately and precise to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace.
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed during food production.
- Collaborate with staff to meet production demands and maintain quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant setting is required. 1 year minimum.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Proficiency in scaling, mixing, dough production.
- Familiarity with various baking equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure and independently.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn new skills within the food industry.
Shift
- Shift: 11:30pm - 7/8am. Shift time may vary.
Requirements
- Full Time Hours. Tuesday - Saturday required.
- Must be able to lift, push or pull 50 LB unassisted
- Able to stand for 8 hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
