Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior orthopedic experience and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This position involves both clinic and surgical responsibilities, working directly under the supervision of our orthopedic surgeons.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations, perform joint and soft tissue injections, and assist in developing treatment plans
- Interpret imaging and diagnostic tests, including X-rays and MRIs
- Provide follow-up care and patient education on recovery and rehabilitation
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Identify Patients who need surgical intervention
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current Florida PA license and NCCPA certification required
- Orthopedic or surgical experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, clinical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
