Hill International is seeking a Project Manager in West Milton, New York
Responsibilities
- Support project work planning activities, including defining trainer scope and associated functional requirements, cost estimating, schedule and budget development, and risk identification
- Support solicitation, placement, and subsequent oversight and follow of subtier supplier contracts
- Monitor project progress and performance against plans and initiating corrective actions to address variances as necessary
- Execute schedule and assigned budget resources
- Interface with project stakeholders, internal and external to the Program
- Identify and implement solutions to resolve challenges and minimize project impacts
- Ensure project results meet scope, schedule, cost, and technical quality requirements
- Responsible for various phases of complex technical projects, from initial planning and scoping to installation and delivery
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Periodic travel to other NNPP and subtier supplier sites
- Program or project management experience within a technical business
- Experience managing complex technical projects
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills
- Experience with new project startup, technical writing, cost estimating, and subtier supplier oversight
- Experience working with engineers to define project scope and schedules
- Experience defining, implementing, and managing project infrastructure (integrated plans, resource management, schedule management, risk management, change control, and status reporting)
- Ability to team and solve complex problems across organizations
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments for all aspects of work with minimal direction from management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with management and interfacing organizations
- Experience with Primavera P6
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
