Legal Assistant / Litigation Paralegal – Defense Litigation

A mid-size Alabama law firm is seeking a highly experienced Legal Assistant / Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in civil defense litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
The successful candidate will provide litigation support including preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, trial materials, exhibit lists, and docketing/calendaring, as well as electronic court filings (CM/ECF).
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of litigation support experience
- Experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and trial preparation
- Experience with e-filing and CM/ECF
- Strong docketing, calendaring, and deadline management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with TABS3 or similar billing software preferred
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Full-time direct hire
$55,000–$65,000 (DOE)
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
