Position Overview
We are seeking a new graduate attorney or associate attorney to support our growing real estate and estate planning practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is eager to work in a fast-paced environment and gain substantial experience in both real estate transactions and estate planning matters.
As an associate, you will have the chance to work directly with senior attorneys, participate in client meetings, handle a variety of legal documents, and contribute to high-value matters. We provide excellent mentorship and training, allowing you to develop your skills in a way that accelerates your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including contract drafting, due diligence, and closing coordination
- Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care proxies
- Support probate and trust administration matters
- Perform legal research and analyze case law
- Draft legal memoranda, client communications, and correspondence
- Attend client meetings and help guide clients through the legal process
- Handle document preparation and filings with courts and government agencies
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 0–3 years of legal experience in real estate or estate planning preferred (recent graduates welcome to apply)
- Strong interest in real estate law and estate planning
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a client-focused approach
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Must be admitted or actively seeking admission to the New York State Bar
