Hill Country Surveying Co. is seeking a skilled and motivated CAD Technician to join our expanding Land Survey Department. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative office environment, where attention to detail and strong technical skills are crucial.
Key Responsibilities: As a CAD Technician, your primary role will be to prepare and produce high-quality survey drawings, including but not limited to:
- Plot Plans
- Boundary Surveys
- Topographic Surveys
- Elevation / Flood Certificates
- Land Title Surveys
- Subdivision Surveys
You will work with Carlson software to produce accurate survey drawings for residential projects, assisting builders in obtaining necessary permits. This is a fast-paced position that demands both technical expertise and a high level of attention to detail.
What You Bring:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD design software (Carlson preferred)
- 1 years of drafting experience in land surveying or related fields (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate work
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Field experience is a plus
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work a standard 40-hour workweek (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from the office
