We are currently seeking a Startup Technician to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate for this position has experience in refrigeration and mechanical systems.
Job Duties and responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, recommend, and resolve/repair all issues to keep equipment functioning properly.
- Perform start-ups, testing & recording results for each system during start-up to ensure the system is functioning properly.
- Perform proper inspection of system and inform dispatch/customer of any outstanding concerns.
- Explain each service and repair performed to dispatch/customer.
- Directly coordinate with office for day-to-day work schedule
- Facilitate orders for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
- Transport parts, materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned items.
- Debrief all service(s) provided with dispatch/customer after each service call with respective documentation.
- Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion
- Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out
- Abide by all company standards of performance and code of ethics.
- Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates
- Provide excellent customer service!
- Complete paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3 years’ experience
- EPA certification
- Valid Texas driver's license and an insurable driving record
- Must be able to work without constant supervision.
- Familiar with commercial systems
- Dependable and self-motivated.

Physical Demand:
- Able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to regularly climb extension ladders, rood ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during the shift.
- Flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
- Ability to regularly kneel repetitively during shift.
- Able to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis during shift
