This role involves extensive bookkeeping activities, managing the front office, and providing exceptional phone etiquette while maintaining a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage the front desk and manage phone systems to ensure excellent customer service.
- Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring transactions.
- Preparing and filing financial documents.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Fact-checking accounting data.
- Reconciling company accounts.
- Processing payroll and tracking payroll data.
- Assisting with tax payments and returns.
- Working with the accounting manager on projects as needed.
- Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Implement administrative procedures to enhance productivity within the office.
- Handle clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role.
- Strong bookkeeping skills with QuickBooks experience required.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Payroll and accounting skills, with construction accounting a plus.
- Experience with payroll systems required; Miter would be a plus.
- Ability to operate various phone systems and office equipment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
