As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to our patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering their questions and addressing their concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Process insurance claims and assist patients with billing questions
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
