Hill Center for Dermatology is an amazing dermatology practice, full of wonderful patients and staff! We are looking to add more great people to our team. If you love working closely with patients and providers, this is the right opportunity for you! We are team oriented and still believe in a little fun at work! In addition, we are not open nights, weekends or holidays. This is a full time position (Monday through Friday) with benefits eligibility after 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities:
· Rooming patients and taking a concise HPI
· Creating the visit note within our EHR (EMA)
· Assisting with procedures and surgeries
· Calling patients with pathology and lab results
· Sterilizing instruments
· Cleaning and stocking rooms
Requirements:
· MA experience preferred, but not required. College courses in preparation for an advanced medical degree may be substituted for experience. Dermatology experience is a definite plus!
· Ability to enter office visit documentation into the EMR during the patient’s visit using an iPad and desktop computer.
· Working knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile technique is helpful.
· Must have good oral and written communication skills, good computer skills, be flexible and dependable, and be able to multitask in a fast paced medical office environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
