Put Your Financial Expertise to Work at Hill Bros
Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives on digging into data, solving problems, and making numbers tell a story? Hill Administrative Services is looking for a Financial Analyst to support our Controller and General Manager with financial reporting, expense analysis, and forecasting across our family of companies.
This is a role where your analytical work has real impact — you won't be pushing paper in a silo. You'll be working closely with division managers, contributing to month-end close, building financial models, and helping leadership make informed decisions. If you're someone who takes pride in accuracy, thinks critically, and wants to grow in a stable, established organization, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
You'll be the analytical backbone of our finance team, supporting accurate reporting and sound decision-making across the organization. Day-to-day, you'll prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support the Controller through the month-end close process. You'll research and prepare expense analyses, develop financial models to support forecasting, and work alongside division managers on budgets and performance reporting. You'll also handle compliance and tax reporting responsibilities including fuel tax filings and sales tax returns, and participate in process improvement projects that make the whole team run better.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Demonstrated financial modeling experience required
- Experience supporting division managers with budgets and P&L reporting preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel required
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains strongly preferred
- Strong research and analytical skills; ability to adapt quickly and learn independently
- Database management and report writing skills a plus
