Hill Bros Logistics is looking for an Account Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of customer accounts. In this fast-paced role, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers—managing everything from onboarding new accounts to identifying growth opportunities, resolving service issues, and building long-term relationships.
You'll work cross-functionally with our Capacity, Carrier, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional service delivery. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, love problem-solving, and are driven by results, this role is for you.
- Own Your Book of Business: Manage assigned customer accounts, serve as the main point of contact, and drive retention and growth
- Grow Existing Accounts: Collaborate with our Business Development team to onboard new customers and identify new lanes and freight opportunities
- Drive Operations: Work with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, track performance metrics, and resolve issues before they escalate
- Build Customer Relationships: Develop customer-specific processes, communicate proactively, and maintain trust through consistent, excellent service
- Document & Analyze: Maintain accurate documentation in our TMS and CRM systems, monitor account performance, and provide regular updates to leadership
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent transportation/logistics experience)
- Strong experience in account management, customer service, or logistics
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management systems (TMS)
- TIA Certified Transportation Broker certification (preferred)
- A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for customer success
