Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate must have experience with warehouse management, be proficient in operating a tow motor, be able to lift up to 50 pounds and must have a clean driving record; CDL would be a plus.
Duties
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Process outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Load and unload goods from trucks using a forklift/tow motor.
- Maintain an organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role or similar position within a distribution center is preferred.
- Proficient in operating a forklift/tow motor.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds (occasionally 75 pounds) as needed.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
