What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rail Transloader Operator position at Hilco Transport?
Tanker drivers from Hilco Transport Inc. will come to this site to load LPG products from rail cars on a designated rail siding. The operator will be responsible for the safe loading of these products.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting daily inspections of railcars and transloaders
- Completing documentation for inspections of all tankers
- Weighing trucks and tankers in and out of the facility on a certified scale
- Generating railcar Bills of Lading (BOLs) and managing inventory control
Employees must understand and comply with all applicable company guidelines, as well as regulations set by OSHA, the NC Department of Agriculture, and the Federal Railroad Administration. Training will be provided to meet these requirements.
The position will be an 8-10 hour workday and potential for overtime: Must be flexible
Monday-Saturday with the possibility of Sunday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
