CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Driver | Albany, NY | Home Most Nights | Multi-Axle Jumbo Experience Required
Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time Hilco Liquid Transport is hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Drivers for our Jumbo / Multi-Axle Division hauling propane and liquid asphalt. This position offers steady year-round work, excellent pay, and drivers are home approximately 85%-90% of the time.
What You’ll Do
- Haul propane and liquid asphalt in jumbo / multi-axle tankers
- Operate local and regional routes ranging from 15–250 miles
- Load, unload, and safely transport hazardous liquid products
- Complete required paperwork through QV21 and TMW workflow
- Read gauges, calculate tank quantities, and connect/disconnect hoses
- Occasional cross-border loads from Montreal to Albany during asphalt season
Schedule
- Five-day work week
- Home most nights
- Occasional overnight runs required
- Winter propane season may require weekends
- Summer asphalt work is primarily weekdays with limited weekends
Requirements
- Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements
- 1 year tanker experience required
- Jumbo / Multi-Axle experience REQUIRED
- Passport REQUIRED
- TWIC Card required or ability to obtain
- Experience hauling propane, butane, asphalt, or other hazardous materials preferred
