Job Overview

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Operators to join a manufacturing team in Socorro, TX. This position involves assembling, inspecting, and testing products and electronic components while following established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to permanent employment. Upon conversion to permanent status, employees receive a $1.50/hour pay increase, along with access to health benefits and a 401(k) retirement plan, subject to company eligibility requirements.

Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

• Night Shift: $16.00/hour
• Additional $1.50/hour upon conversion to permanent employment

Work Schedule

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 12-hour shifts
• Rotating schedule; specific workdays will be provided during the hiring process
• Overtime may be required based on business needs

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and finished products according to work instructions and standard procedures.
• Handle and install electronic components, including circuit boards, processors, memory, and power supplies.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment.
• Inspect products for defects and verify assembly quality.
• Identify and report defective parts or assembly issues.
• Follow production goals, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and electronic components is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20–30 pounds as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to visually inspect small components and identify product defects.
