What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Hikari Sushi?
Hikari Sushi is looking for a host/host to join our rapidly growing restaurant in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Northern Liberties.
The host will be responsible for
- Greeting guests upon arrival in a warm and friendly manner and seating them in accordance to any reservation placed
- Organizing reservations
- Packing, organizing and handing off our takeout/delivery orders
- Taking calls and providing appropriate service
The ideal candidate will be professional with a bright demeanor and have strong verbal communication skills.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess in a restaurant setting, preferably with sushi service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Background in hospitality and guest relations
- Ability to manage phone etiquette and guest inquiries effectively
- Experience in food service and maintaining a welcoming environment

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
