Every surface you prepare and every coating you apply helps protect ships that operate in extreme conditions for decades. Painters are essential to the longevity and reliability of nearly 70% of the U.S. Navy fleet built at Ingalls since 1938.
What You Bring
Requires a minimum 3 or more years experience as a painter/blaster. - Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications. - Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the contract specifications. Testing will consist of the ability to hook up airlines to the manifold and spray horizontal, vertical and side to side. - Able to sand blast and demonstrate how to utilize each part of the blast equipment.

- Ability to work safely in demanding environments, including heights and confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and teamwork
