Journeyman Carpenter

We build and renovate homes the right way — on time, on budget, and with the kind of finish quality homeowners brag about. We're looking for a lead carpenter who takes serious pride in their craft, shows up every single day, and holds themselves to a higher standard than the client could ever ask for. If that sounds like you, keep reading. If you're the type who calls in sick on Fridays or has “too much fun” on the weekend and cant make it to work, this isn't the job for you.

What you'll be doing

•      Quality rough and trim carpentry on residential renovations and new construction projects. Trim, doors, cabinetry, flooring, framing, and finish work across residential projects

•      Serve as the point person on-site. Communicate professionally with homeowners and coordinate with other trades.

•      Read plans, identify issues before they become problems, and execute to spec without constant supervision.

•      Maintain a clean, safe job site. Protect the client's home and leave every space better than you found it.

What we require...No exceptions

✓    7 years of verifiable carpentry experience. Specifically in residential renovation and finish work. We will ask for references and we will call them.

✓    Your own tools — a full kit. Hand tools, power tools, and whatever you need to do the job right. Do not apply if you expect to borrow ours. **Specialty and heavy application tools provided by the company.

✓    Reliable personal transportation. You are responsible for getting yourself to job sites on time, every day. We have a runner / laborer but occasional running for materials will be required.

✓    Consistent attendance — no exceptions. Our clients count on us and we count on you. Chronic no-shows and last-minute call-outs are not something we work around.

✓    Clean, professional appearance and communication. You are in someone's home. Conduct yourself accordingly.

•      You take ownership. If something isn't right, you fix it before someone has to tell you. We go by the moto “Do it right the first time” not “We do it nice because we do it twice”. Let’s be real, it takes just as much time to screw it up as it does to do it right!

•      You're always learning. You know what you're good at and you're actively working on the rest.

•      You put the client first — always! Their home is their biggest investment and you treat it that way.

•      You don't need hand-holding. You show up, you figure it out, and you get it done right.

•      You're proud of your work. You wouldn't walk past something that's off just because no one would notice.

This is not the right fit if...

✕   You have less than 7 years of real, hands-on residential carpentry experience

✕   You show up late, call out frequently, or need daily reminders to do your job

✕   You don't have your own tools or reliable transportation to job sites

✕   You think “good enough” is acceptable finish work
